Course Guidelines & Expectations
This course is designed to guide you to become a Nurse who is specialized in Podortho Nursing Foot and Lower Limb Care. You will be expected to conduct your own research and possess the competency to know when and how to assess related information which will continue throughout your Podortho Nursing Career. You will be asked to complete the required reading and assignments exams and practical case studies. Your exam will be based on what you learn in class. You will be provided with a text / work book. You will also be given the opportunities to practice what you have learned in a practical application through observation, demonstration and practice.
Your attendance is 100% mandatory for in class learning. Exceptions can be made for students who are travelling from long distances in terms of clinical days. These clinical days will be booked in advance.

2 Patient case studies
You will be asked to conduct 30 independent case studies and submit them in for grading to your designated instructor.
Assignments can be submitted online to your instructor.
