At the Feet For Life School of Podortho Nursing we offer exceptional courses to ensure that future Podortho Nurses obtain the highest amount of knowledge from instructors with decades of experience operating successful Podortho Nursing Foot Care practices. Our program is designed for specialization in Advanced Nursing Foot Care. New Nurses will gain knowledge and clinical skills to develop a professional career in this field of practice. This program is also for experienced foot care nurses who wish to update their practical skills and knowledge working within the Health Care Team or expanding their current independent practice.
Advanced Podortho Nursing Course Description
All nurses must be registered with their Nursing Governing Body and also provide valid Nursing Insurance to practice through their affiliate association WeRPN or RNAO.
Added presentations and workshops will be available for groups interested in this field of practice where we will customize a program to suit the needs of the Health Care Team or Experienced Foot Care Provider.
Podortho Nurse Course Outline
250 hour post graduate program (25 CEU Credits) Course includes:

All course materials including text book, student guide, and practice materials are provided on the first day of class.

Your clinical skills will be observed and practiced in a state of the art medical Foot Clinic with top of the line instruments, equipment and new foot care technologies including padding and strapping, electric rotary tools, scalpel skills, laser therapy, and much more…
Students will receive the most up-to date and Evidence-Based Best Practice Standards available including Infection Control & Protection Standards for Ontario.
You are not required to purchase instruments for this course. They are provided during clinical practice. All clinical practice is done one on one with instructor. We provide your case studies at the facility with actual patients. You do not have to find your own case studies. All instruments and equipment is provided for your clinical placement. If the student wishes to purchase instruments after course completion FFLSPN offers discounted rates to students.
