Our program is designed for specialization in Advanced Nursing Foot Care. New Nurses will gain knowledge and clinical skills to develop a professional career in this field of practice. This program is also for experienced foot care nurses who wish to update their practical skills and knowledge working within the Health Care Team or expanding their current independent practice.

Advanced Podortho Nursing Course Description

All Nurses must be registered with their respective College and provide proof of practice insurance for clinical practice through either RNAO, WeRPN or CNPS. We do not endorse or recommend obtaining IBSIG (Independent Business Speciality Interest Group through WeRPN) membership as they do not support Podortho Nursing practices.

All students will receive a one year complementary membership to the Ontario Podortho Nursing Association Inc. A not for profit organization comprised of successful Podortho Nurses that support and advance their members in practice through additional continuing education and collaboration and build awareness of our members roles in our communities across Ontario.
